The Mate 9 fits comfortably into the palm of your hand, and can easily be operated with one finger on one hand – Huawei coy also added a special mode that will push all your windows to one side for a specially accessible option.
The screen also packs in a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels – around 373ppi, which brings it slightly behind the Galaxy S7, which comes with a 2K display equivalent to around 577ppi.
Huawei partnered iconic camera maker Leica last year for the Huawei P9 smartphone, and the same technology is now input into the Huawei Mate 9.
There’s a dual-lens 20MP + 12MP camera ion the rear of the device – one to focus on color detection, the other on black and white, in order to create super-detailed images.
It also comes with optical image stabilisation technology that prevents blur and 4-in-1 hybrid auto-focus that uses lasers to make sure you get the best images, even in low light – and can also capture 4K video.
