Technology: What robots teach us about how children learn

There’s a great deal of concentration on taking a look at the methods by which people learn and utilizing these bits of knowledge to make machines more quick witted. This is the whole reason for fake neural systems, which attempt to repeat a basic model of the human mind inside a machine.

Notwithstanding, the reverse can be valid too: Examining robots can reveal how we as people retain and understand new data.

That is the reason for another experiment, done by analysts in the United Kingdom. Hoping to see more about how youthful children learn new words, they modified a humanoid robot called iCub — outfitted with an amplifier and camera — to learn new words.
