13,000 Nigerian refugees flee to Cameroon

UN reports have claimed that thousands of Nigerians are still fleeing the north because of violence from the renown terrorist group known as Boko Haram. Boko Haram menace continues to send thousands of poor Nigerians into Cameroon to take refuge and save their souls.

The number of people fleeing Nigeria for Cameroon is about 13,000, according to the report. The state where most of the fleeing takes place are Adamawa and some surrounding towns. Recently, Boko Haram attacked the town of Mubi and refugees were made to flee from Guider and Gashiga in Cameroon north to Bourha, Mogode and Boukoula.

Some of the refugees who are planning to return to Nigeria are said to be hoping that Yola will be their final destination.
