Ghanaian coach says Super Eagles better than Black Meteors

The Ghanaian coach, Malik Jabir praised the Super Eagles for their mighty performance of 1-0 over his U-23 team, the Black Meteors of Ghana, after a match played in Uyo at the new 30,000 capacity stadium built by Akwa Ibom State Government.

The game, which was watched by Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, Ghanaian President, John Mahama, and his counterpart, Alassane Quattara, showed the strength of the Super Eagles over the Black Meteors.

Jabir said his team were not as strong as the Super Eagles because they were just assembled two weeks ago, while the Super Eagles have been playing together for long.

The Ghanaian coach, who described the stadium as being exceptional, said the failure of his team is not an excuse and that he expects better performance from the team next year.
