Typhoon Hagupit rocks The Philippines

A type of typhoon known as Hagupit is currently devastating the Philippines and news reports say that although it is slow moving, thing may get worse. It got started around 78 mph and is suggested may climax at 100 mph.

The typhoon, which started late Saturday night is fraught with potentially life-threatening winds, storm surge and flash floods.

Part of the areas affected are Samar, Leyte, Tacloban City, and others. Over 650,000 people have been evacuated ahead of the typhoon’s threat on Saturday.
