It came in the news just over two hours ago that INEC had postponed elections by six weeks. The news dropped online through Daily Post, a reliable source of news in Nigeria. However, another information hit the web by Premium Times that INEC Resident Commissioners had rejected the move to postpone elections in Nigeria.

Up until now, we can’t say for sure if the election, which ought to hold on February 14 is still to hold on that day.
If the elections are postponed, it will cause a lot of headaches for business people and other investors who are waiting patiently for February 14 to berth in order for them to know how to direct their investments in 2015.
