Knowing what causes kidney chronic disease is the first step in avoiding problems. Once kidney damage and decreased function lasts longer than three days, it is known as chronic kidney disease (CKD).
At this stage, the disease is very dangerous because there’s probably lack of any symptoms until the damage is done. Yet, the damage could become irreparable. Oftentimes, diabetes types 1 and 2 and high blood pressure are often the most common causes of this kind of kidney disease.
